The Texas School for the Deaf Ranger Stampede 5K and 1 mile run/walk! The cost this year will be $2 per race with students 21 and under free. In addition, during the months of November and December, all proceeds will go to Austin area runner, Justin Gabriel, to assist with medical expenses due to suffering from a coma back in September and is still recovering. Justin worked with TSD elementary students through the RunTex Born to Run program and we strongly feel that we should help someone who has contributed to our students. You may also contribute to a charity of your choice in forthcoming months, beginning in January 2010. Meet at the TSD Track/Concession Stand to register for the race and obtain your race bib number before 5 pm. Also, volunteers are welcome to assist.
